SlowBird

What people say about SlowBird

In their own words, from musicians using SlowBird to learn, practise and play.

  • ★★★★★ I have found SlowBird useful in the ways I intended to use it (transcribing, slowing down and keeping everything in one visible place)… What I wasn’t expecting was that I also find it really handy organising setlists for concerts! Loading all of the tracks into one list means I feel encouraged to jumble things up and bring back other concerts into a full list and send that list to the rest of the band. As it’s super easy to shuffle things about and colour code things too. I can then practise the whole set in order and put markers on the trickier bits. Ozzy Moysey, Ancient Infinity Orchestra
  • ★★★★★ Such a clean and simple app, it makes transcribing a joy. It's great to work on everything in one place. Baz

A note from the maker

I’ve always wanted a transcription app where I can collect jazz solos and isolate them and work on very specific passages in the music. And build up a repository of my favourite ideas from my favourite players. SlowBird does just that. For me, it’s the ideal jazz transcription tool.
